Work as part of a team to conduct elemental analysis of soil, plant and water samples for farmers, county agents, KSU faculty and federal and state agency staff. The information developed will be used to make fertilizer recommendations and support research, extension and regulatory activities in Kansas and other states. Other duties include, but are not limited to, maintenance and repair of lab equipment and instruments, supervising hourly students, ensuring a safe and environmentally friendly work environment and greeting and assisting visitors and walk-in customers.
