Graphics>wsaclogo.gifThe Wheat State Agronomy Club would like to welcome you to the Agronomy Department at Kansas State University. If you are a new student here at K-State, you may be wondering what you can do to become involved and meet new people. The Wheat State Agronomy Club is one way you can do just that.

Spring 2013 Meeting Dates:

January 29

February 12 and 26

March 12 and 26

April 9

April 23- Officer Elections

Membership in this club allows you to become involved with K-State Department of Agronomy students and faculty, keep updated on current agricultural events from professionals in the agronomic industry, and a chance to meet with students from other universities at national and regional meetings sponsored by the American Society of Agronomy.

Our major fund raiser is parking cars at the North Agronomy Farm during Kansas State Wildcat football games. The club uses this money to finance several events including national and regional meetings, community service, and social activities.

If you would like to become a member of the Wheat State Agronomy Club, contact your advisor or the club’s president, Megan Miller.

The Wheat State Agronomy Club meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in Throckmorton 2002.
